As you may remember from our brief introduction, Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) are organizations that market themselves as Planned Parenthood-esque women’s health clinics, yet refuse to provide honest information about contraceptive or abortions for religiously motivated reasons. Worse yet, many have even been known to spread misinformation about birth control or medical procedures that they consider immoral.

However, progress on this issue has been made by the very same campaign that we filled out the petitions for. Legislation has just been passed in the Baltimore City Council forcing that area’s CPCs to disclose the fact that they do not provide this important reproductive health information.
