Arrange a few tiny sandwiches on doilies and iron out your most flattering pink ruffled party dress. Tomorrow at 2 PM, the Tea Party will be airing an exclusive sneak peek of its new documentary.

Though the Tea Party itself is quite new to US politics, its principles of liberty and rebellion are as traditionally American as it gets. The Tea Party has taken it upon themselves to fight an ever-growing list of imminent threats, including but not limited to: socialism, communism, fascism, computers, heroin, health care, nuts, naps, the USSR, Germany, morans [sic], and death. Oh, and taxation without representation.

I perused the documentary’s website and watched the trailer just enough times to be sure it wasn’t some kind of parody. According to the deep-voiced man providing the voiceover in the trailer, “liberty’s march has a new generation of patriots” (although some of them still feel compelled to dress like the old generation). The Tea Party Documentary Film is set to be released on Thanksgiving Day, but we are graciously being afforded the unique opportunity of seeing a sneak peek via webcast. Arrange tea party-themed viewing sessions with your fellow American patriot friends ASAP. Snacks are required (Earl Grey and crumpets, perhaps?).
