Last Saturday, some members of the College Democrats traveled to Jackson for Representative Mark Schauer’s health care townhall. (Read more about the event below!) Among that group was the now-famous Nina Bhattacharya, whose face can be seen by the Jackson Citizen Patriot’s loyal readers and all of mlive.com.

The only downside is that Representative Schauer accidentally photobombed Nina’s glamour shot. We will work on cropping him out before the photo goes national, of course.

The picture was snapped not long before the College Democrats thanked Rep. Schauer for his politically risky support of H.R. 3962. Move in close now, fellow Dems: we then huddled in with Schauer so he could divulge a secret. He shared his belief that every politician has an issue that would be worth losing his or her job for. His is health care. Let’s see to it that it doesn’t actually go that far in 2010.
